Product description The T8 / 48" GamTube Clear UV Fluorescent Sleeve installs quickly and is an effective clear UV shield to protect your valuable items. This sleeve slips over T8 fluorescents to eliminate high levels of ultraviolet energy generated by fluorescent lamps, which could be detrimental to dyes in fabrics, paintings, drawings, and other art work. This clear UV sleeve is made with 2 mil-thick clear polyester material and has a melting point of 480°F (250°C). Its UV filtering material will reduce the radiation and the wave length band to less than 3%, and is approved by ANSI for the protection of stored or displayed photographs. Table of Contents
