Product description The BC 30 Wireless Backup Camera from Garmin can be used with compatible GPS units to add another layer of safety while driving. Using a 1/3" color CMOS image sensor to capture 640x480 video, the camera is connected to a wireless transmitter mounted inside the vehicle and has a range of up to 45 feet. The camera can be attached to your license plate, bumper, or anyplace on the rear of your vehicle and through the transmitter's connection will display the imaging on the connected receiver GPS Unit. When the camera is wired to your reverse lights for power, you can set the navigation unit to automatically display the camera view every time the vehicle shifts into reverse, and toggle back to navigation when taken out of reverse. For constant connection, the GPS receiver unit must be powered by the included car adapter receiver cable for communicating with the camera. IPX7 rated, the camera and transmitter are submersible up to 3.3' for up to 30 minutes, allowing them to be used during all types of weather. - Compatibility
