Product description Make your time on the road easier with the dezl 780 LMT-S Advanced GPS for Trucks from Garmin. This GPS navigator was created with big rigs in mind and boasts a suite of features to help you on the long haul. Voice-activated navigation keeps your hands on the wheel, Wi-Fi keeps your maps automatically updated, and Bluetooth allows for hands-free calling, texting, traffic info, and alerts. Customized truck-routing maps will keep you informed of things like bridge heights, sharp curves, steep grades, and more for most major roads and highways. The Simple Truck Profile lets you input the size of your cab and easily change the overall dimensions of your rig by changing trailer proportion and content details with the push of a button, including height, weight, length, width, and hazardous materials. When used with Garmin's separately sold eLog-compliant ELD, the dezl 780 automatically tracks, displays, and records hours of service, remaining hours, duty tracking, and more. The Service History Log and Truck & Trailer Services Directory are helpful for maintenance and repairs. Notifications are displayed for food, fuel, rest areas, showers, lodging, ATMs, Wi-Fi, and parking. The 7" glass dual-orientation touchscreen offers an easy-to-read interface, and displays traffic info, with sources updated on a lifetime basis, to keep you moving. Active Lane Guidance helps you through difficult interchanges, while junction view gives you multiple views to further assist you in finding the correct lane of travel. Direct Access simplifies navigating to select destinations, like airports and shopping malls, by finding a place within a larger location. You can see upcoming points of interest as you motor along so you can pull over with plenty of time if one catches your eye. Route avoidance lets you avoid highways or tolls. Speed limit indicator helps keep you on the right side of the law by displaying limits for most major roads. Bluetooth wireless technology interfaces with your smartphone to access live services using Smartphone Link. This software uses your existing mobile data plan to share information, including contacts, search results, favorite locations, and your driving destination. With Smartphone Link, your GPS unit can also access Garmin Live Services for useful, real-time driving information. Make and receive calls using the built-in speaker and microphone keeping your hands free to drive. The built-in maps of North America have lifetime updates available for free from Garmin, which are stored on the internal solid state memory. Access to Foursquare provides you with millions of points of interest, so finding a place for dinner will never be a hardship. You can add up to 1000 of your own points of interest. Add a microSD card using the built-in slot to store additional data if needed, or to upload extra information.
