Product description Stay connected on land or at sea with the quatix 5 from Garmin. This marine-focused sport watch provides comprehensive boat connectivity and includes several seafaring features that will assist you whether you're fishing, cruising, or sailing. The quatix 5 connects with compatible Garmin chartplotters and other devices to stream data directly to your watch, giving you real-time data on speed, depth, temperature, and wind. It's equipped with high-sensitivity GPS and GLONASS tracking and navigational support. Additionally, it houses an array of ABC sensors—3-axis compass, altimeter, and barometer—that provide relevant real-time information, including elevation data, weather prediction, and bearing data. The quatix 5 is more than just a marine wearable. It features several of the same activity and multi-sport modes popularized in Garmin's other wearable devices, including running and cycling dynamics, activity tracking, and more. The quatix 5 can also be paired with optional fitness devices for even more advanced fitness data monitoring. Additionally, the quatix 5 integrates with several of Garmin's other devices, including the VIRB, Vector, and more. For notifications and wireless connectivity, the quatix 5 interfaces with your compatible smartphone using Bluetooth technology. Wi-Fi and ANT+ technology are also built in for more connected options. Depending on the mode, the quatix 5 offers up to 2 weeks of battery life. - Take Control
- The quatix 5's advanced autopilot and remote waypoint marking features allow you to maintain control of your vessel even when you are not the one at the helm. With quatix 5, you can access select autopilot control units change heading, turn, and steer the boat. You can also add waypoints remotely and they will sync automatically with your connected chartplotter.
- Sail Assist
- Use the Sail Assist features to visualize your sail racing. Create virtual starting lines, set countdown timers, and use tack assist for one-touch tack calibration.
- Water Sports Data
- Whether you're paddle boarding or canoeing, quatix 5 can track your stroke and distance data; it even provides lap tracking. Plus, when water skiing, you can check your boat speed right from your wrist.
- FUSION-Link
- Use the built-in FUSION-Link Lite app to control connected StereoActive products as well as other ANT-enabled stereo models from your quatix 5.
- Wrist-Based Heart Rate
- Elevate heart rate technology lets you monitor your heart rate from your wrist. The quatix 5 uses this heart rate data to provide calories burned information and quantify the intensity of your fitness activities.
- Sport and Activity Tracking
- Whether you're on water or dry land, quatix 5 can track your physical activities. It offers advanced fitness training features that include training statistics and activity profiles for multiple sports/activities, such as running, biking, swimming, hiking, and golfing. Additionally, it includes daily activity features, such as steps and calories-burned tracking.
- Smart Notifications
- Thanks to its advanced connectivity features, the quatix 5 lets you receive emails, texts, and alerts right on your watch. You also get automatic uploads to the Garmin Connect online fitness community, live tracking, and social media sharing through Garmin Connect Mobile.
