Product description Get detailed information on important running metrics with this Running Dynamics Pod from Garmin. This lightweight device clips to your waistband. It's equipped with a built-in accelerometer that's specially calibrated to measure and compute 6 essential biomechanics that are crucial to improving your running performance: cadence, ground contact balance, stride length, vertical oscillation, vertical oscillation to stride length ratio, and ground contact time. The Running Dynamics Pod works in tandem with select Garmin sports watches (sold separately). The pod communicates the measurements it takes to any of these watches, so you can see your statistics in real time.
The Running Dynamics Pod is rated IPX7, so you can take it in the rain. It comes with a user-replaceable CR1632 battery that's designed to last up to a year with regular use. - Running Dynamics
