Product description The VIRB Ultra 30 with Powered Mount from Garmin features the advanced VIRB Ultra 30 action camera and a weatherproof powered case for hardwiring the camera on a boat, ATV, or elsewhere. The camera is designed for up to the most professional applications while the powered mount makes it even more suitable for professional use because it allows for continuous recording. A 12V power supply is also included for plugging the powered case to a power outlet. The VIRB Ultra 30 captures up to UHD 4K resolution video at 30 fps and features built-in digital 3-axis video stabilization (in up to 2.7K30), voice control, 12MP photo capture, GPS, live streaming to YouTube, and much more. Other resolutions include 2.7K at up to 60 fps, 1080p at up to 120 fps, and 720p at up to 240 fps for effective slow motion video.
The VIRB Ultra 30 has a color touchscreen offering easy, one-touch operation. The touchscreen works through the included powered case, and the buttons are large so they're easy to find on the go. There's also a built-in high-sensitivity mic which ensures that sound is recorded clear and not muffled, and works to full effect whether in or out of the case.
Voice control allows you to give the camera hands-free commands such as "start recording," "take a picture," or "remember that" to tag footage for later recall. The GPS feature allows you to document distances traveled, heights reached, speeds reached, and other factors by taking note of all relevant performance data that can later be pulled up. You can even overlay graphs and gauges over this data.
The camera pairs with the free iOS/Android VIRB mobile app that lets you control the camera remotely, set up shots, control multiple cameras, edit footage, and share your recordings in various ways, including live streaming to YouTube. Using the included battery, the camera runs for up to 75 minutes when recording 4K at 30 fps, and up to 135 minutes when recording 1080p30. It supports up to 128GB microSD cards for recording. The VIRB Ultra 30 also supports an optional waterproof housing that lets you take the camera to depths of 130'. Just like with the powered case, the camera's touchscreen and high-sensitivity mic also work through the waterproof case. - Key Features
