Product description Optimally used after degaussing, the Garner PD-4 Physical Hard Drive Destroyer provides quick, secure destruction of hard drives containing sensitive data. Just like a mini Death Star compactor, the PD-4 destroys by crushing, applying approximately 10,500 pounds of force to drives in its destruction chamber. The PD-4 is software-independent, destroying up to six laptop-, two standard-, or one full-height hard drive per cycle. The first drive is destroyed in 20 seconds or less, meeting NSA emergency-destruction guidelines. The Garner PD-4 Destroyer automatically adjusts its crushing power to the drive's height, and can run continuously without cooling down between cycles. Its office-friendly design is quiet, free of hydraulic fluid, and offers push-button operation. Features - Destroys laptop, standard, or network hard drives
