Product description The Gefen EXT-DP-CP-2FO DisplayPort over Fiber Optic Extender Kit features a sender and receiver unit. This Kit is designed to extend DisplayPort with HDCP and DPCP support up to 1000' away over dual LC-terminated multi-mode fiber optic cables. The EXT-DP-CP-2FO supports resolutions up to 2560x1600 (WQXGA). 62.5/125µm fiber can also be used for a maximum extension range of up to 500'.
The extenders optical signal transmission is designed to provide galvanic isolation and resistance to electromagnetic interference. The sender and receiver modules feature cast aluminum enclosures, designed to provide with further immunity to radiated noise.
This kit features female connectors which allow optimized lengths of DisplayPort cables, thus preventing stress on the source and display connectors. - Extends DisplayPort up to 1000' over 2 strands of 50/125µm multi-mode LC-terminated fiber optic cable
- Extends DisplayPort up to 500' over 2 strands of 62.5/125µm multi-mode LC-terminated fiber optic cable
- Supports 1080p Full HD at 120Hz and dual-link resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA)
- Compliant with DisplayPort 1.1a standard
- Supports Dual-Mode DP (DP++)
- Supports auxiliary/l²C channel over fiber
- Cast Aluminum enclosures and Fiber optic transmission to eliminate susceptibility to electromagnetic interference (EMI)
