Product description The Gefen HDMI KVM over IP Transmitter & Receiver Kit allows you to extend an HDMI signal, along with USB, RS-232, and two-way audio, up to 328 ft over a single Cat5e or better cable, in resolutions up to 1080p and 1920 x 1200 WUXGA. Two-way audio will allow you to send an audio signal to the receiver and mic signal back to the transmitter. Using an optional Gigabit switch, you can configure a multipoint matrix of up to 256 transmitters and 65,000 transmitter/receiver units in total. (The Gigabit switch must support 8K jumbo frame packets in order to support multipoint configurations.) - Gefen HDMI KVM over IP Transmitter The Gefen HDMI KVM over IP Transmitter transmits an HDMI signal, along with USB, RS-232, and two-way audio, 328 ft over CAT5/6 to any Gefen KVM Receiver, sold separately. It supports input/output resolutions up to 1080p and 1920 x 1200 WUXGA. Using an optional Gigabit switch, you can configure a multipoint matrix of up to 256 transmitters and 65,000 transmitter/receiver units in total. The Gigabit switch must support 8k jumbo frame packets in order to support multipoint configurations. A free web server interface is available on the Gefen website for quick system set-ups and firmware upgrades.
Two-way audio consists of a 3.5mm line in and line out. The transmitter automatically blocks the HDMI embedded audio when separate audio is connected to the line in. The line out is for outputting and recording a mic input coming back from the receiving end. An IR port is available for optional IR control. 6 ft HDMI, USB A to B, and DB-9 RS-232 cables, an L-shaped mounting bracket, and a locking power supply are included. - Key Features

UPC: 845344088778 Gefen HD KVM Over IP Receiver (HDMI) The HD KVM Over IP Receiver with HDMI port, from Gefen, is designed for large scale remote workstation access and digital signage applications. The HD KVM Over IP extends HDMI, USB, two-way analog audio, RS-232, and IR over a Gigabit Local Area Network. Resolutions up to 1080p Full HD and 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) are supported. The Receiver can be automatically or manually configured to unique IP addresses to allow the connection of multiple units to the same network. Multiple receiver units can simultaneously connect to any sender unit within the network, regardless of video type, to create a virtual cross-point matrix of 256 senders and up to 65,000 units total.When using HDCP-encrypted content, only HDMI senders and receiver units can accept and display the content. Each receiver unit has a built-in Ethernet switch and two additional RJ-45 Ethernet ports to allow for the connection of computers and other IP-enabled devices. The connection is made using Cat5e or better cables. Each cable run can be up to 330 feet in length. USB 2.0 data rates of up to 480 Mbps are supported, in addition to USB 1.1 backward compatibility. Each receiver unit provides two USB ports with up to 500mAh current draw per connector, providing access to keyboard, mouse, and other compatible devices. Bi-directional analog audio capability allows the sound to be transported between the sender and receiver units. The built-in mic pre-amp on the receiver unit ensures compatibility with a variety of microphones. IR commands from the receiver side can be extended to sources connected to any of the sender units. The RS-232 serial control can also be extended between each sender and receiver. The built-in web server interface is designed for easy configuration, set-up, and operation. Note: For multicast mode a gigabit switch is required. The gigabit switch must support 8k jumbo frame packets in order for multicast mode to operate. If your LAN is not dedicated to Gefen KVM-LAN products exclusively, then a managed switch is highly recommended. - Extends HDMI, USB, RS-232, bi-directional stereo analog audio, and IR over IP, using a Gigabit Local Area Network
