Product description Extend an HDMI video signal, Ethernet, and bidirectional IR control over a single cable with the Gefen UHD 4K ELR-POL Extender Kit. With a maximum transmission distance of 495' (1080p, 8-bit color) between the included transmitter and receiver, you can have your display farther from the source A/V equipment than when using HDMI cable alone. DCI and UHD 4K resolutions are supported, as is 1080p 12-bit deep-color, although with a reduced maximum transmission distance of 330'. Since this kit leverages the HDBaseT protocol, power can also be sent down the connecting Cat5e cable, so only a single power supply is needed. For permanent installation, use the integrated screw-hole brackets. An IR cable, IR blaster, DB-9 adapters, HDMI cable, and power supply are included so you can use the kit right out of the box. - Supports HDCP, 12-bit Deep Color, LPCM 7.1 audio, Dolby TrueHD & DTS-HD Master Audio pass-through, 3DTV pass-through, CEC pass-through, and lip sync pass-through
- Only one unit needs external power; POL feature provides power to the other unit over link cable
- Firmware upgradable via RS-232
