Product description - Genaray Contender: Portable Zooming LED Spotlight
The versatile 3.25 x 3.25 x 8.25" Contender LED Spot Focusing Light (Bi-Color) from Genaray has a compact form factor, variable light intensity, focus, and color temperature, as well as power options that make it well-suited to location work. The Contender is dimmable from 100 to 10% and its color is variable from 3200 to 5600K while maintaining a CRI/TLCI rating of 95/96, indicating faithful and accurate color rendition. You can fine tune the color or add diffusion materials for softness using the integrated filter frame. Yet another sign of versatility is the Contender's adjustable spot focus feature. The lens offers wide 55-degree coverage that can be focused down to a 25-degree spot for selective lighting or sharp-shadowed sunlight effects. The fixture's light source is a 50W high-density matrix LED array that generates negligible heat, allowing you to squeeze it into tight places or work up close to the talent without being concerned about hazard or discomfort. Powering the Contender offers two options. The light is ready for worldwide use, thanks to its 100-240 VAC power adapter. Just add an inexpensive plug adapter that matches the socket of the country you're traveling to. The Contender also includes a battery module, charger, and two NP-F750 batteries to power the light when mains current is unavailable. A carry case is included for storage and transport. - Adjustable Beam Angle
- Gives you wide 55-degree coverage and is adjustable to 25 degrees for selective lighting.
- Bi-Color
- Simply dial in color temperature from 3200 - 5600K or anywhere in between to match other fixtures, ambient light conditions, or just for creative effects.
- Color Fidelity
- The Contender has a CRI rating of 95 and a TLCI rating of 96, indicating a faithful and accurate rendition of color.
- Power Options
- Run on 100-240 VAC current or included NP-F750 batteries when mains power is unavailable.
- Cool Running
- The Contender generates barely perceptible heat. Squeeze the light into tight places or position it close to the talent without risk of hazard or discomfort.
- Flicker-free
- The Contender's LEDs output constant flicker-free light that's well-suited for shooting video at a high frame rate or in slow motion without a strobing effect.
- Removable Barndoors
- The 4-way barndoors help you illuminate areas that you want to and keep light from areas that you don't want to light.
- Filter or Diffuse the Light Output
- The Contender has an integrated frame that allows insertion of diffusion materials for softer light or gel filters to balance the color temperature or for creative effects.
- Modular Design
- The light's modular design makes it possible to incorporate a battery module to make use of the two provided NP-F750 batteries when mains power is not available.
