• 2 x Genaray SpectroLED-14 LED Light
  • The Genaray SP-AD75 SpectroLED-14 Light
  With a beam angle of 60°, the SpectroLED-14 Light from Genaray is composed of a daylight-balanced fixture equipped with 1140 LEDs. The round 14.5" light provides 10-100% dimming with a maximum power output of 75W.In a field dominated by rectangular or square arrays, Genaray has made the wise choice of making their studio lights circular. Not only does the increased surface area have more wrap-around light characteristics but the shape renders pleasing, natural-looking catchlights in your subject's eyes. And if you're doing portraiture, you can soften the SpectroLED-14's output by slipping the included 3/4 stop diffusion sock over the reflector. Heat is never a concern since the cool-running LEDs are barely warm to the touch.Another way to soften the quality of light is to use the umbrella socket that is built into the mount. You can use reflective or translucent umbrellas for bounce or shoot-through effects. The socket accepts 7 or 8 mm shafts and the mount has a 65-degree tilting range for perfect placement.Power is provided by an included multi-voltage power supply and adapter that accepts 100-240 VAC. The inclusion of a cigarette lighter adapter cord also gives you the option of using 12V batteries for convenience or location shooting. You can run the SpectroLED-14 for approximately 70 minutes on an average fully charged battery. Not only are you saving money every time you use the SpectroLED-14 due to its low current draw, but with a 50,000-hour lamp life the SpectroLED-14 is virtually maintenance-free. The light mounts to any compatible 5/8" baby pin stand and can be operated with an optional remote dimmer that connects via a 12.8' cable.

  This Impact Air-Cushioned Light Stand is a black anodized aluminum support that rises to a height of 10' and folds down to 33.5" for storage and transport. The stand will handle up to 8.5 lb and is topped with a 5/8" stud with 1/4"-20 threads. It has a wide footprint of 38" for greater stability. Air cushioning gently lowers the light when making height adjustments to protect equipment and fingers.

  • The Genaray SP-AD75 SpectroLED-14 Light
  This is a 43" umbrella with a beaded silver reflective surface. It will intensify and slightly soften the light output of a strobe light fixture. Umbrellas soften, broaden, and diminish the light output of flash light source. Umbrellas with a white interior will soften and weaken light more than an umbrella with a silver lining. A white umbrella without a black backing may also be used as a makeshift softbox, although the use of the light will not be as efficient as with a lightbox.Choosing umbrella size is determined by the size of the subject, and the strength of the light supply being used. Choosing an umbrella surface is as subjective as choosing a paint and brush.
