Product description - The Genaray SP-AD35 SpectroLED-9 Light
The SpectroLED-9 Light (100-240 VAC/12 VDC) by Genaray is built around a 10-100% dimming fixture with a 60° beam angle. 500 LEDs output an impressive brightness equivalent many times its nominal 35W rating. In a field dominated by rectangular or square arrays Genaray has made the wise choice of making studio lights circular. Not only does the increased surface area have more wrap-around light characteristics but the shape renders pleasing, natural-looking catchlights in your subject's eyes. And if you're doing portraiture you can soften the SpectroLED-9's output while widening its native 60-degree coverage by slipping the included 3/4 stop diffusion sock over the reflector. Heat is never a concern since the cool-running SpectroLED-9 is barely warm to the touch. Another way to soften the quality of light is the umbrella socket that's built into the mount. You can use reflective or translucent umbrellas for bounce or shoot-through effects. The socket accepts 7 or 8 mm shafts and the mount has a 65-degree tilting range for perfect placement. Power is provided by the included multi-voltage power supply/adapter. The inclusion of a cigarette lighter adapter cord also gives you the option of using 12V batteries for convenience or location shooting. You can run the SpectroLED-9 for approximately 300 minutes on an average fully charged battery. Not only are you saving money every time you use the SpectroLED-9 due to its low current draw, but with a 50,000-hour lamp life the SpectroLED-9 is virtually maintenance-free. Note: Runtime is approximate depending on battery selected - AC or DC Operation
- The SpectroLED-9 comes with a 100-240 VAC power source but if you need to shoot in out of the way locations you'll find its DC (battery) capability handy. A cigarette lighter adapter cord is included. Just add your choice of optional 12V battery.
- Umbrella Mount
- The SpectroLED-9's stand mount has an umbrella socket built into it giving you additional creative options.
- Optional Remote Dimming
- Squeezing the SpectroLED-9 into tight spaces is no problem. The optional Remote Dimmer gives you the same 10-100% dimming options that you have on the light's control panel but with a 12.8' cable. Operate 1 or several remote equipped SpectroLEDs from remote or central locations. It's also great for controlling a light that's mounted overhead.
