Product description Offering 1024 bright 100W LEDs with a soft wraparound quality thanks to its unique interior design, the second version Square Sun 1x1 Bi-Color Soft LED Flood from Genaray is a versatile fixture with features that make it a pleasure to use in the studio or on location. The light has color temperature that's variable from 3200 to 5600K or anywhere in between to match other fixtures or ambient light conditions or just for creative effects. Light intensity is also conveniently variable from 100 to 10% without flicker and both functions can be adjusted either on the light or remotely thanks to onboard DMX512.The Square Sun 1x1' benefits from all of the features of using LED light. It runs barely warm to the touch, allowing you to work close to the subject without causing discomfort or hot light hazards. It produces a high output of up to 2937 lux @ 3.3' (set to 4400K) while consuming just 100W of power and maintaining a high CRI/TLCI rating of 96, indicating faithful and precise rendering of colors. The Square Sun 1x1' also has wide coverage of 120 degrees which can be modified and controlled by its removable 4-way barndoors. The barndoors have gel clips to mount diffusers and other materials that alter the quality of light. The Square Sun comes with a multi-voltage adapter that makes it ready for worldwide use, and this second version has been improved to only require a single V-mount battery when AC power is unavailable. - Adjustable Color Temperature
- The Square Sun's color temperature is adjustable from 3200 to 5600K or anywhere in between to match other light sources, ambient light conditions, or just for creative effects.
- DMX 512 Compatible
- The SS-12 has built-in DMX512 technology. This allows you to control the light's settings remotely from a DMX lighting control console.
- Bright LEDs
- Employing 1024 bright LEDs, the SS-12 outputs up to 2937 lux at 3.3' (at 4400K).
- Dimming
- The Square Sun is flicker free and dimmable from 100 to 10% for your specific light intensity requirements.
- High CRI
- The light's high CRI is an indication of faithful and precise rendering of color.
- Battery or AC Power
- The SS-12 has a multi-voltage 100-240 VAC power supply, and this second version has been improved to only require a single V-mount battery when AC power is unavailable.
- Cool Running
- The Square Sun's LEDs run barely warm to the touch allowing you to work close to your subject without discomfort and without losing time waiting for the fixture to cool down.
- Fan Cooling
- The built-in fan is operated by a dedicated on/off switch. To avoid noise that can be picked up by a microphone, the fan can be turned off. Like most LEDs there is a power drop when the fan is turned off, but the Square Sun only minimally drops to 80% brightness. If you're operating at less than 80% brightness, there will be no change.
- Barndoors with Filter Clips
- The included removable barndoors have filter clips to attach diffusion and other light modifying materials.
- Single Shadow
- The recessed LEDs bounce the light off the interior reflector and then are softened by an integrated diffuser panel yielding a bright and punchy light with a soft wraparound quality that eliminates multiple shadows often associated with LED lighting.
