Product description The mystic black F Two 8” Active Subwoofer from Genelec is designed to complement up to 5 Genelec G One or G Two or a pair of Genelec G Three or G Four systems. The Harri Koskinen industrial design provides bass extension down to 27 Hz without distortion and integrates with the main loudspeakers in any environment. The playback level for the whole audio system is conveniently controlled by the wireless volume control. In addition, the subwoofer comes with Link Out RCA connector for linking multiple subwoofers together, and 2 balanced male XLR connectors.
The F Two has an integrated bass management for the five main channels which directs the frequencies below 85 Hz to the subwoofer and higher frequencies through the output connectors to the main loudspeakers.
The ISS (Intelligent Signal Sensing) circuitry tracks the signal input of the loudspeaker and detects if it is in use. If the ISS circuit does not find any audio on the input for a period of time, it sets the loudspeaker to a low-power sleep state and the loudspeaker will consume less than 0.5W. When an input signal is detected, the loudspeaker immediately turns itself on. Basically, the loudspeaker system will start saving power as soon as work is interrupted.
