Product description Suitable for use with most DSLRs as well as larger cameras, the Genustech Gen X Plate Camera Base Plate Package 1 is an adjustable base plate with sliding QR camera plate and 15mm LWS rods. The sliding plate is Arca Swiss compatible and features over 7.8" of front to back travel with a removable camera locating pin. It comes with both a 1/4"-20 and a 3/8"-16 camera tie-down screw. The base plate QR mechanism features a safety lock that helps prevent the sliding camera plate from being accidentally released.
The base plate comes with four removable riser posts that allow you to adjust the height in two positions. Adding the riser posts adds just over eight tenths of an inch of height to your base plate; this adjustment is secure and stable without using a locking lever, which may be jarred loose. The included front rod bracket features over two inches of height adjustment using a single 1/4" screw. This adjustment combined with the riser post allows you to maintain the industry standard rod to lens height using a variety of optional cameras. The base plate's locking levers are spring-loaded, allowing you to loosen or tighten them even if you can't rotate the levers through a full 360°. Included with the baseplate is a pair of eight-inch-long 15mm rods. - The base plate includes a Swiss Arca compatible camera plate with removable locating pin, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera tie-down screws, and almost eight inches of forward to back adjustment for balancing your camera
- The QR release is protected from accidently being opened by a locking lever that physically engages the QR lever.
- The removable front rod support bracket features approximately two inches of adjustment.
