Product description The Gepe SK-GH01 Gimbal Head Mount is an ideal solution for photographers who have had the awkward and unwieldy experience of trying to work with a long, heavy lens on a ball or pan head. Balance is the preeminent mission of the gimbal head. Instead of the fixed point of the lens' tripod collar, the SK-GH01 rotates lenses around their center gravity, offsetting their weight and literally allowing adjustments with one finger. The mount has an 80 cm reference scale marked in millimeters for accurate, repeatable settings.The sturdy aluminum alloy SK-GH01 mounts to tripod legs with a 3/8"-16 screw and is compatible with Arca-type lens plates many of which are 6.0" long allowing sliding adjustments of 3.0" in both directions.
