Boomers are made with nickel-plated steel tightly wrapped around a round steel core wire, which gives them extra durability. The wound 3rd string adds thicker, rounder mid tones, making this set well-suited for jazz players and rhythm guitarists with a heavy right hand. - Extra Light gauge roundwound string set made with nickel-plated steel wrapped tightly around a round steel core wire
