Product description The 5711DB from Gibraltar is a pedal intended for use with bass drums. A single-chain, CAM-drive double kick-drum pedal, the 5711DB features two fast-touch pedalboards which allow you more flexibility in playing double-hits. This pedal is also suitable for drummers who prefer to play barefoot.
Its twin dual-surface 90g-weighted beaters allow you to strike the drum either with a felt side or a plastic side, for more attack. Its cast-metal frame utilizes a hoop clamp which can be tightened with any drum key. The slave pedal features a steel rock plate for an added measure of stability, while the master pedal utilizes a radius rod that decreases the carrying weight of the overall unit. The radius rod is attached to the pedal at an angle to ensure the pedal won't collapse during playing. An adjustable arm with two U-joints connects the two pedals.
