Product description Built for light and scalable applications such as microservers, redundant configurations, web hosting arrays, network appliances, and more, the GA-9SISL Mini-ITX BGA 1283 Server Motherboard (rev. 1.2) from Gigabyte is designed to fit in cases that support the Mini-ITX form factor. The 6.7 x 6.7" GA-9SISL comes equipped with a 2.4 GHz Intel Atom C2750 Eight-Core SoC processor, which has a max boost speed of 2.6 GHz. It also supports the BGA 1283 socket, as well as Windows Server 2012 R2 (64-bit), Server 2008 Enterprise R2 SP1 (64-bit), Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4 (64-bit), and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11.3 (64-bit).
The Mini-ITX form factor of the GA-9SISL has four DIMM slots that can support up to 64GB of single or dual rank and ECC or non-ECC unbuffered DDR3 or DDR3L RAM at speeds of either 1333 or 1600 MHz. This motherboard also has two SATA III 6 Gb/s ports, four SATA II 3 Gb/s ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and one PCIe Gen2 x16 slot. Graphics support is integrated in the Aspeed AST2400 controller and supports 2D video at a resolution of up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz and 32bpp, which is output through its VGA port. There are also five Ethernet ports, four of which are Gigabit ports for network connectivity and one additional 10/100 port for LAN management.
Included with this motherboard are two SATA II 3 Gb/s cables and an I/O shield. It is protected by a limited 3-year warranty. - 2.4 GHz Intel Atom C2750 Eight-Core Processor
- In addition to the computing power and energy consumption ratio offered by the Intel Atom C2750 processor, the GA-9SISL features:
- 4 x DIMM slots supporting ECC memory, as compared to the SO-DIMM slots usually found on Mini-ITX products
- 1 x PCIe x16 slot for additional storage or network features
- 4 x Gigabit LAN ports for network configurations
- 1 separate management LAN port to access the board's remote management functions
- Board placement has been optimized for rackmount integration. Also, its rear interface includes buttons and LEDs designed to match the maintenance workflow of such integration
- 6 x storage ports, which can be complemented with a storage PCIe card
