Product description The Glide Gear 8’ Portable Quick Jib System is comprised of the 8' Quick Jib and a wireless monitor. The wireless monitor includes a 2.4 GHz transmitter and receiver, and a 7" RGB LCD monitor (800 x 480). The Quick Jib is made from lightweight 6061 CNC machined aluminum, with tight tolerances, and a sleek black scratch-resistant coating for smooth operation. It is easy to set up and supports DSLR cameras weighing up to 7 lb. The wireless monitor allows for a wire-free POV shot. - 8' Portable Quick Jib

This 8' Portable Quick Jib from Glide Gear is designed for use with DSLRs or other cameras weighing up to seven pounds. It telescopes from 4 to 8' and is 12 feet in total length. No need to purchase special weights; this portable jib uses standard barbell weights or sandbags as counterweights. It offers a quick and easy setup, and weighs in at 11 pounds (without weights). The kit is comprised of a 7", 800x480 resolution, TFT LCD monitor, a transmitter, a receiver, and all the necessary cabling to connect to a composite video source. An RCA female to female barrel connector is also included in case your, like some DSLRs, requires an A/V breakout cable. Wireless monitoring comes in handy when the camera can't be reached or interfered with. For example, when it's up on a jib or a crane or when it's being flown on a stabilizer or motorized gimbal. In optimal conditions, this kit has a maximum operating range of 82'. The transmitter requires a 9V battery for operation while the receiver has a built-in rechargeable battery, which also powers the monitor itself.
