Product description Anatomy of a Teleprompter Read More Glide Gear's Solo Laptop/Tabletop Teleprompter is a hybrid prompter that can be used as a standard teleprompter or a direct view model. It allows you to turn virtually any laptop, desktop, or tablet into a teleprompter by taking advantage or your device's built-in camera. It features a 70/30 beamsplitter glass and a powder coated aluminum frame that provides strength and durability with minimal weight.
With a reading range of up to 8', this prompter is perfect for intimate sets and locations. It is small enough to provide direct eye contact, so your talent can appear to be talking directly to the audience. - Configuration
- Mirror Mode: In this setup, a single computer or a single tablet is used both as a camera and a source for the text you want to read. The Solo Prompter's mirror will allow you to project the text from your device's screen onto its beamsplitter glass, so you can look directly at the camera while reading your text.
Tablet Mode: In this setup, a computer or a tablet is used as a camera, and a smartphone is used as a source for the text you wish to read. The smartphone is placed on top of the tray and is not mounted or attached. The Solo Prompter will allow you to project the text from your smartphone onto its beamsplitter glass so you can look straight at the computer or tablet's camera while reading.
