Product description The Glidecam HD4000 Stabilizer System With 577 QR Plate Kit from B&H Photo is a lightweight, hand-held camcorder stabilizing system that includes a Manfrotto 577 Rapid Connect Adapter with Sliding Mounting Plate (501PL). This system is upgraded and offers fine adjustments and an improved gimbal and balance system. Camera stabilization systems like this one work to provide camera stability during movement for dynamic and subjective camera shots. It utilizes a balancing system that dampens the user's body movement, providing a smooth, floating moving image appearance usually achieved with more expensive equipment. The Manfrotto 577 gives you the freedom to switch your camera from the Glidecam to a tripod and back again quickly. Compatible with the 501PL (old 3433PL) camera plate (supplied with the 3433, 3460, and 3465 heads) and the special 501PLONG accessory plate. Table of Contents
