Product description The D2 Large Diaphragm Dynamic Microphone from Golden Age Project is a versatile large-diaphragm dynamic microphone that is useful for stage, studio, and broadcast applications.
For live performance, its high-output dynamic capsule provides a big, powerful sound, and its cardioid polar pattern gives it a focused pickup that helps minimize feedback. In the studio, the D2 excels as an all-purpose microphone for such sources as vocals, kick drum, electric bass, percussion, and more. For broadcast, the D1's tone in conjunction with the proximity effect you get from its cardioid pattern gives you that "larger-than-life" sound for voice-overs and other spoken-word applications.
The microphone is equipped with three separate filters, each with its own on/off switch, which make it possible to tailor the D2's frequency response for specific applications. Two of the three are bass roll-off filters that help you shape the low end. The first cuts 3 dB at 120 Hz and 5 dB at 50 Hz. The second cuts 3 dB at 210 Hz and 10 dB at 100 Hz. The third filter affects the presence range, cutting by a maximum of 4 dB at 5 kHz. The D2 features an integrated stand adapter. - High-output dynamic cartridge for a big and powerful sound
- A clear, distinct and full-bodied sound with a presence peak for life-like vocals
- Cardioid polar pattern helps reduce onstage feedback
- Three switchable filters for tailoring the sound
