Product description Classified as a class C measurement device for reliable and accurate measure in lux or fc, this Mavolux 5032C Base Light Meter from Gossen is a trustworthy tool for checking illuminance in a variety of situations. It has a wide measurement range, with the silicon photo diode spanning from 0.1 to 199,900 lux or 0.01 to 19,900 fc with an accuracy of ±3% ±1 digit of reading. The device features an easy-to-read 2.2" LCD screen and has non-volatile memory for up to 100 measurements. Additionally, the measuring head is connected to the main device with a 4.9' attached connector cable for easy placement and viewing. It runs on one AA battery. - As an option, the accredited GOSSEN Light Lab can issue a factory or a DAkkS calibration certificate for measuring equipment monitoring in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9011:2008
- V(λ) matching ensures the spectral sensitivity of the silicon photo diode is color corrected and corresponds to the spectral brightness sensitivity of the human eye
- Cosine correction takes into account the fact that the luminosity of a flat measuring surface is proportional to the cosine of the incident angle of light
- Female 1/4"-20 thread on base of measurement part for placement on a light stand or tripod
