Product description Supporting up to eight HD input streams, the GV Director Integrated Non-Linear Live Production System from Grass Valley is a combination of a 4 RU server and a flexible control surface. The GV Director is suitable for use by event venues, stadiums, education, corporate, government, and houses of worship. The control console connects via Ethernet to the server, which incorporates the inputs/outputs. This allows you to install the server in a machine room, while you keep the control console in the studio. The server features eight HD-SDI inputs and two HDMI inputs, for a total of ten inputs of which eight can be active at any time. The console features assignable buttons, a touchscreen surface, and a transition bar, providing you with the classic control interface you are used to while allowing for customization to suit your needs. Production elements can be created beforehand on a Mac or PC, or can be created on the fly as needed using the GV Director's graphics and authoring tool or effects builder. Grass Valley requires that one of their technicians confirm the system is set up and configured to your requirements on-site, after it has been installed. -
