Product description The Grass Valley Storm 3G Hardware Card is a PCI Express card-based hardware that allows you to perform multi-format 3G-SDI (serial digital interface) editing and preview your projects in real-time using HDMI monitors. It also features RS-422 control and reference sync input.
Besides reference input support for blackburst and tri-level sync support, the 3G Storm Card also features machine control-based external VTR ingest. In addition, optional VTR emulation software allows you to control an Edius workstation like a VTR for direct playout from the workstation. Precisely synchronized full resolution preview of effects and content are available from the Edius timeline.
You can use the hardware board for handling a mix of high-definition and standard-definition (HD and SD) video content, video, audio, title, graphics layers, and any combination of real-time effects. In addition, the Storm 3G board also offers live, complete, and high resolution HD/SD video output.
