Product description The 701K-G is a kit comprised of a Greenlee 200EP Tone Probe Amplifier, a 7HP-G High Power Tone Generator, and a rugged nylon carrying case. The amplifier and tone-generator are intended to facilitate the testing and tracing of wire and cables.
The probe, which can operate at levels of 30 dB, features a 3.5mm headset jack for monitoring tone in headphones, and comes with a plastic probe tip to prevent accidental shorts. The accompanying power-tone generator provide the alternating 890/960 Hz signal to trace a given wire, or pair of wires. Both the tone generator and the probe are battery powered, lasting up to 50 hours off of a 9V battery. When the items are not in use, you can store them in the woven nylon carrying case.
