Product description The 711K is a kit comprised of a Greenlee 200GX Tone Probe Amplifier and a 77GX Tone Generator. The amplifier and tone-generator are intended to facilitate the tracing and troubleshooting a variety of electrical circuits in a variety of circumstances, including communication, alarm/security, automotive scenarios, and more. It accomplishes all of this without piercing insulation.
The probe, which can operate at levels of 30 dB, includes an LED for a visual indication of signal strength, and for recessed telephone test-set connectors. Also provided is a plastic probe tip to prevent accidental shorts.
The accompanying power-tone generator provides three selectable warble tones, a two-line modular test lead, and two-color LEDs which help you identify the polarity of a signal. It also includes a weather resistant case, and operates in conjunction with the tone probe via standard alligator clips.
