Product description The 801K is a kit comprised of a Greenlee 200FP Filtered Tone Probe, a 77HP-G/6A High Power Tone Generator, and a Cordura carrying case. The probe and tone-generator are intended to identify or trace wires and cables without ever surrounding removing insulation.
The probe, which can operate at levels of 35 dB, has been designed to filter all power-related noise to eliminate the interference of the phenomenon of "power line hum". The accompanying power-tone generator provides the alternating 890/960 Hz signal, and can identify conductors within bundles, at cross-connection points, or at remote ends. Both the tone generator and the probe are battery powered, lasting up to 50 hours off of a 9V battery. When the items are not in use, you can store them in the Cordura carrying case.
