Product description The AT8L LAN Toner Kit is a kit comprised of a Greenlee 200GX Tone Probe Amplifier, an AT8L LAN Toner, and a nylon case. The amplifier and tone-generator are intended to facilitate the tracing and troubleshooting a variety of electrical circuits in a variety of circumstances, including Datacom, Telecom, alarm/security, audio, and CATV. It accomplishes all of this without piercing insulation.
The probe, which can operate at levels of 30 dB, includes an LED for a visual indication of signal strength, and for recessed telephone test-set connectors. Also provided is a plastic probe tip to prevent accidental shorts.
The accompanying power-tone generator provides two selectable warble tones for identifying multiple cable runs, tone signaling, continuity testing, telephone line polarity indication, and more.
