Product description Use your unique fingerprint to safeguard your handgun or other valuables with the MiniVault Biometric Handgun Safe from GunVault. Constructed of sturdy 16-gauge steel with a soft foam interior, the MiniVault Biometric features a biometric security system, which includes storage for up to 20 fingerprints. Access can also be gained with a user-programmed keypad access code. GunVault's "No-Eyes" design allows you to operate the biometric scanner or enter your code by feel, so you can open the safe even when you can't see the keypad. Repeated unsuccessful attempts to open the vault trigger a lockout function, and the tampering detection indicator reveals when someone has tried to gain unauthorized access.
The interior light makes it easy to see the contents of the safe. Power comes from one user-supplied 9V battery or the external AC/DC adapter (a battery must be in the unit in order to use the external power supply). A backup override key provides access in the event of forgotten keypad code or battery failure. An audible alarm and blinking LED provide warning when the battery gets low. The MiniVault Biometric is pre-drilled with holes for mounting on a wall or in a closet. -
