Product description Your handgun will be safely secured yet readily accessible with the SpeedVault Biometric Handgun Safe from GunVault. Simply swipe your fingerprint and the safe drops open. Constructed of sturdy 18-gauge steel, it can be mounted on either side or the back. The tampering detection indicator reveals when someone has tried to gain unauthorized access. Powered by one user-supplied 9V battery, the SpeedVault is equipped with a low battery indicator and an interior light that stays on for five seconds after the safe is opened. The beep that sounds upon opening the safe can be disabled for silent operation. -
