Product description Keep the front element of your lens safe with the 77mm NanoPro MC Clear Filter from Haida. This clear filter is designed purely for protection and is rated to provide over 99.6% light transmission, causing no noticeable effect on your images. By acting as a physical barrier between your lens and the world, it can stop dust and water from entering your system and can even help prevent or reduce damage if your camera is accidentally dropped or bumped into a sharp object. The filter is made of glass and features a thin frame to avoid vignetting when it is used with wide-angle lenses. Two types of coating are applied to the glass surface: a multi-coating that helps reduce internal ghosting and reflections, and a nano-coating that repels water to form it into beads and make it easier to clean. Finally, front threads allow you to stack other filters on top of it to achieve a wide range of effects. -

- Helps keep dust and water at bay, and can reduce damage caused by accidental dropping
