Product description The HMC/CD385/906 6-User Wireless Boombox Listening Center from Hamilton provides you with a terrific way for up to 6 users to enjoy wireless audio for group learning. The system includes an MPC-5050 boombox, a W906-Multi wireless headphone system, and a durable plastic carrying case.
The MPC-5050 boombox features a CD player, cassette player, and stereo AM/FM tuner. The standard headphone jack lets you connect the transmitter so you can wirelessly connect all of the included headphones. Integrated stereo speakers let you share audio with a larger group. The boombox can operate on AC power or on 8 "D" batteries for excellent versatility.
The W906-Multi system consists of a transmitter and 6 sets of wireless headphones. The compact transmitter connects to the boombox's headphone jack via a standard 3.5mm plug and then sends the audio to the headphones, reaching distances of up to 300'. There are 4 selectable color-coded wireless frequencies, so you can use multiple systems in the same area without interference. Each set of headphones has an adjustable headband and cushioned earcups for long-lasting comfort. Internal NiMH batteries provide up to 50 hours of operation from an 8 hour charge, and LED indicator lights show when headphones are charged. If desired, you can add additional sets of headphones (sold separately) to expand the system.
The durable plastic storage case has enough room to safely store all of the components of the listening system. It has a toolbox-style design with secure clasps to prevent accidental opening. There is also a padlock hole so you can add a lock to prevent unauthorized access. A folding handle on the top of the box provides convenient portability.
