Product description The LCP/HACX205/4SV 4-User CD/MP3 Listening Center from Hamilton provides you with a terrific way for up to 4 users to enjoy audio for group learning. The system includes an HACX-205 CD/MP3 player, 4 sets of SC7V headphones, an 8-user jackbox, and a durable plastic carrying case.
The HACX-205 features a top-loading CD player that supports standard audio CDs, as well as CD-R and CD-RW discs loaded with MP3 files. There's also a USB port that lets you play MP3 files from a USB flash drive. The stylish design features a backlit LCD track display, a 3W amplifier, and an integrated speaker. There are 3.5mm and 1/4" headphone jacks for connecting the included jackbox, and you can also connect a small external speaker. For added durability and convenience, the HACX-205 has anti-skip technology and digital push-button volume controls. It can be powered with its 6V wall power adapter or with a set of 4 "C" batteries for terrific versatility.
Each set of SC7V headphones has a comfortable, adjustable headband and over-ear earcups with washable, replaceable leatherette ear cushions. Patented Automatic Stereo/Mono (ASM) technology allows the headphones to detect whether they're plugged into a mono or audio sound source, so you can plug into any sound system without worry. Integrated volume controls let listeners make quick and easy adjustments. The single-sided coiled cables are designed to minimize tangles. Each set of headphones has a 3.5mm mini plug and 1/4" adapter for wide compatibility with a variety of devices.
The jackbox is a compact unit that connects to the headphone jack of the boombox. It then splits the audio signal to 8 individual 1/4" headphone jacks, each of which has its own volume control. The extra headphone jacks make it easy to add additional sets of headphones to the system later on. The durable plastic storage case has enough room to safely store all of the components of the listening system. It has a toolbox-style design with secure clasps to prevent accidental opening. There is also a padlock hole so you can add a lock to prevent unauthorized access. A folding handle on the top of the box provides convenient portability.
