Product description The PCD-CD4 4-User Ultra Portable CD Listening Center from Hamilton provides you with a terrific way for up to 4 users to enjoy audio for group learning. The system includes an HACX-114 portable CD player, 4 sets of MS2L headphones, an 8-user jackbox, and a soft zip-up carrying case.
The HACX-114 CD player is compact and portable so you can bring it practically anywhere. It has a 60-second anti-shock memory for smooth playback. It also has an LCD display for keeping tabs on what track is selected. The player has a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting the jackbox, and there is also a 3.5mm line output for connecting a set of portable speakers. The CD player can operate with the included power adapter, or on a set of 2 AA batteries for terrific versatility.
Each set of MS2L headphones has large cobalt drivers to provide quality audio. They also have Hamilton's exclusive patented ASM technology, allowing the headphones to automatically detect whether they are plugged into a mono or stereo audio source. This lets you plug into any piece of audio equipment without worrying about damaging ears or equipment. The headphones have a standard 3.5mm mini plug and a 1/4" adapter for use with all types of audio gear. The headphones have an adjustable headband to fit any head size, and the washable leatherette ear cushions provide comfortable listening. The single-sided cable minimizes snags and tangles. Each set has its own heavy-duty resealable bag, which kills lice without chemicals in 24-48 hours. The bags can be written on for easy identification.
The jackbox is a compact unit that connects to the headphone jack of the boombox. It then splits the audio signal to 8 individual 1/4" headphone jacks, each of which has its own volume control. The extra jacks make it easy to add additional sets of headphones the the system later on. The soft zip-up carrying case is ideal for storing the listening system when it's not in use, or taking it on the road with you. The case can store all of the system components, and it is padded to keep the items safe. An internal pocket is perfect for storing batteries, papers, and other small accessories. A carrying strap provides convenient portability.
