Product description If a 300+ pound B-3 is not available, the next best thing is the XK-3c from Hammond that comes in at a little over tenth of the weight while still delivering the genuine and original sounds of the B-3. For all practical purposes the 73-note keyboard is the top manual of a Hammond B- 3, with two sets of harmonic drawbars, chorus-vibrato, and Touch-Response Percussion. The reverse-key presets function exactly as they do on the original, and the Waterfall keyboard allows for traditional organ playing techniques.
Extensive editing capabilities allow for voicing (volume, timbre, leakage, motor noise) for each of the ninety-six digital tonewheels, with the ability to save these profiles for instant recall. Twelve factory digital tonewheel profiles ranging from "showroom clean" to "road worn" are available for instant customization. The traditional "hot rod modifications" for vintage B- 3's can be achieved on this modern recreation using all the included parameters. Modified presets can be stored internally or to optional CompactFlash cards via the built-in card reader.
The keyboard can also function as a MIDI controller, with the ability to address six external zones on two manuals and pedals, with dedicated and assignable switches and rotaries on the front panel. Pitch bend and modulation wheels are provided. Additionally the keyboard can be expanded to include a lower manual, pedal boards, expression pedals, and the unit can be connected to a real Leslie speaker via an 11-pin Leslie connector. - Ninety-six independent oscillating digital tonewheels that accurately reproduce the sound of the vintage B-3/C-3

- Preamp circuit consists of dual bands allowing for assigning bass and treble to respective tubes with single-band operation also possible
- Adjustable bias voltage for obtaining not only the distortion by general clipping but also nonlinear distortion
- DSP effect generator simulates the scanner-vibrato and Leslie speaker
- Leslie effects simulate the rotation of the two rotors in a traditional Leslie
- Three-band EQ and tone-control
- Tone-control simulates the circuit built in on the vintage B-3/C-3 pre-amp to obtain a gently cut treble
- 11-pin Leslie speaker socket for direct connection to Leslie Speakers
- Save parameter files to an optional CompactFlash card
- Optional Leslie switch can be mounted to the front rail
