Product description The Battery Adapter for H5D and H4D-60 Medium Format DSLR Cameras from Hasselblad is used in combination with a separately sold battery and adapter plate to power the sensor unit of the H5D and H4D-60 digital cameras. This power source is used as an alternative to powering the unit with a tethered FireWire connection, especially when the back is mounted on a large format camera. The adapter provides an On/Off switch and allows camera and flash sync connections to the sockets on the bottom of the sensor unit. The design of the adapter also keeps the connections secure when the battery is inserted. The battery attaches securely to the adapter and is removed by pressing the release button. The adapter uses a standard 7.2V Sony NP-F L-type battery to power the back (batteries sold separately).
