Product description Hauppauge's WinTV-quadHD is a PCIe card designed to let you watch and/or record up to four TV channels at the same time on your Windows computer.
WinTV-quadHD features four ATSC and QAM tuners, and allows you to watch up to four channels in four separate windows, watch one while recording three in the background, or record up to all four. It also gives you the ability to pause a program while you're watching it. The card has a single tuner input, so you can connect either an ATSC antenna or QAM antenna, but a built-in antenna splitter allows you to watch/record four channels.
WinTV-quadHD fits in full height and half height PCs and includes both half height and full height brackets. It also comes with a remote control featuring a 3.3 ft IR receiver cable. When using the card and WinTV software, you can also use them from within Microsoft Windows Media Center.
ATSC over-the-air digital TV is supported in all formats up to the highest HD format. ATSC programs will display/record in MPEG-2, and recording will generally take up 5GB of storage space per hour of HD video.
(ATSC is free HD TV for the U.S. and Canada. Clear QAM is digital cable TV requiring a cable TV provider. Not all cable TV networks send clear QAM channels. Please check with your local cable operator for availability of clear QAM digital cable TV.) - Key Features
