Product description Hawke Sport Optics designed the 1-6x24 Frontier 30 Tactical Riflescope specifically to address the needs of tactical shooters. To emphasize its goals, Hawke outfitted this scope with a compact low-profile body, a 24mm objective, and an illuminated Tactical Dot reticle that is located in the first focal plane. The Tactical Dot reticle features a modified German 4 design with brilliant red illumination. The center illuminated area consists of the aiming dot, target circle, and two lateral crosshairs. The non-illuminated portion of the reticle consists of three medium posts (truncated at the outer edges) and a fine bottom line with ballistic and wind stadia. For added accuracy, the parallax is fixed to 100 yards. To help with compensation for wind and ballistic bullet drop, the riflescope offers 35 MRAD of windage and elevation adjustment range and a 1/10 MRAD per click impact point correction. The optical system highlights fully multi-coated elements with 21 layers of anti-reflection coatings for ultimate resolution and image brightness.
The scope's aluminum construction is centered around its 30mm single-piece maintube. It is filled with nitrogen for fogproof and waterproof performance. The overall design features a compact shape with low-profile capped turrets, fast-focus eyepiece, and a high-torque rubberized Posi-Grip zoom ring. To keep your scope's lenses protected from debris, dust, and dirt while it is not used, the scope is supplied with lens caps. - Optical Performance
