Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More Designed with large objectives and a powerful magnification to make detailed observations at far distances, the Hawke Sport Optics black 12x50 Endurance ED Binoculars sport extra low-dispersion glass, phase-corrected BAK4 prisms, and anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics to improve their overall performance and enhance their low-light capabilities. The combination of magnification, optical technologies, and over-sized objectives produce bright and clear high-contrast images with accurate color rendition and virtually no fringing. Whether hunting, birding, or watching sporting events, the Endurance ED will bring your subjects and the scene up close to provide an immersive observational experience.To help offset the weight of the large objectives, the Endurance ED is built with a lightweight polycarbonate chassis that is corrosion resistant to help it hold up to a lifetime of outdoor use. It is also temperature resistant, so the optical tubes won't expand and contract with temperature fluctuation, which, over time, can cause the optics to move out of collimation and prevent the binoculars from being able to achieve sharp focus. The optical tubes are wrapped with rubber armoring, which not only protects them from drops and impacts, but also gives the binoculars a slip-resistant grip - especially in cold and wet weather. The optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and fogproof - especially in extreme weather conditions. To reduce user fatigue and keep them steady, a tripod adapter mount is located in the front of the hinge for setting them up on a support system. A right-eye diopter adjustment allows the binoculars to be customized to most people's needs, and the twist-up eyecups provide comfortable use with or without eyewear. - Optical Performance
