Product description Hawke Sports Optics designed the 4-12x40 Panorama AO Riflescope specifically to address the needs of long-range precision airgun shooters and varmint hunters. To emphasize its goals, Hawke outfitted the scope with a medium-size 40mm objective, which can scoop enough light at dawn and dusk for adequate illumination, and the discreet 10x ½ mil dot illuminated reticle with fine features. The fully multi-coated optics offer 16 layers of anti-reflection coatings to further increase resolution and image brightness. Located on the 2nd focal plane is an etched-on-glass 10x ½ mil dot fully-illuminated reticle. Its offers four short hollow outer posts and a thin crosshair with major minor stadia markings that are evenly spaced at 0.5 mil distances. At the inside edge of the outer posts, minor hollow bars are spaced at 0.2 mil to provide ranging capability. The illumination offers 5 brightness levels and red or blue color options.For added precision when making shots, the parallax effect can be corrected from 7.5 yards to infinity, and to help with compensating for wind and ballistic bullet drop, the riflescope offers 70 MOA of windage and elevation adjustment range and a 1/4 MOA per click impact point correction.
The scope's aluminum construction is centered around its 1" single-piece maintube, which is filled with nitrogen for fogproof and waterproof performance. The overall design features a slender and unobtrusive shape with low-profile, capped turrets and an adjustable objective ring for parallax correction. To prevent recoil-related zoom shift, the fast-focus eyepiece is outfitted with a high-torque zoom ring. To keep your scope's lenses protected from debris, dust, and dirt while it is not used, one objective lens cap and one ocular lens cap are also included. Other included accessories are a lens cloth and one CR-2032 battery. - Optical Performance
