Product description Dominate the field using the Hawke 5-25x56 Frontier FFP SF Riflescope. This iteration of the series is optimized for longer ranges, higher zoom factors, and challenging light conditions. To live up to the expectations of demanding tactical shooters, the optical system is outfitted with precision-ground lenses that are treated with 21 layers of anti-reflection full multi-coatings. For noteworthy image clarity, free of ghost images and stray light, the interior of the housing is covered with a special black finish that absorbs stray light. The scope also has an extra-wide 56mm objective to maximize brightness and visibility in challenging lighting conditions. Another highlight is the first focal plane illuminated Mil Ext. reticle, whose fine features allow precise aiming without covering the background. It resembles the German #4 style, where an illuminated milling crosshair is surrounded by three hollow posts. The optical system also provides a side focus parallax correction from 25 yards to infinity. To match the quality of the optics, the housing is designed with strength, durability, and ergonomics in mind. Its defining features are a CNC-machined single-piece 30mm maintube, a scratch-resistant anodized finish, a water and fogproof performance, and a No Zero Shift anti-recoil erector gimbal system. To protect the windage and elevation adjustment knobs from accidental bumps, they have locking mechanisms, and to guard optics from dirt and debris, the scope ships with two lens covers. - Optical Performance
