Product description Hawke Sport Optics delivered the 5-30x50 Frontier 30 Side Focus Riflescope specifically to address the needs of low-light and long-range precision shooters and hunters. To emphasize its goals, Hawke outfitted the scope with a large 50mm objective, which can scoop more light at dawn and dusk than an average scope, and an illuminated reticle. The fully multi-coated optics offer 21 layers of anti-reflection coatings to further increase resolution and image brightness. Another highlight is the German #4 style LR Dot Reticle, which consists of three posts, a thin crosshair (with holdover marks), and an illuminated red center dot. Its measurement markings are optimized for 16x and deliver 2.3 MOA, 5.6 MOA, 9.63 MOA, and 14.3 MOA aiming points when it is zeroed at 100 yd. When zeroed at 100 meters (at 16x), they correspond to 200, 300, 400, and 500 meters. For added accuracy, you can easily correct the parallax effect from 30 yd to infinity with the adjustable objective ring. To help with compensation for wind and ballistic bullet drop, the riflescope offers 60 MOA of windage and elevation adjustment range and a 1/4 MOA per click impact point correction.
The scope's aluminum construction is centered around its 30mm single-piece maintube. It is filled with nitrogen for fogproof and waterproof performance. The overall design features a slender and unobtrusive shape with capped low-profile hunting windage and elevation turrets. To prevent recoil-related zoom shift, the fast-focus eyepiece is outfitted with a high-torque zoom ring. To keep your scope's lenses protected from debris, dust, and dirt while it is not used, one objective lens cap and one ocular lens cap are also included. Other included accessories are a lens cloth, one CR2032 battery, and a screw-in sunshade. - Optical Performance
