Product description Hawke Sports Optics crafted the 8-25x42 Sidewinder Riflescope to address the needs of long-range precision tactical shooters. To emphasize its goals, Hawke outfitted the scope with the unobtrusive 20x ½ Mil Dot fully-illuminated reticle and a 42mm objective, which can provide bright images from dusk until dawn. The fully multi-coated optics offer 18 layers of anti-reflection coatings to further increase image resolution, clarity, and brightness. Located on the 2nd focal plane is an etched-on-glass 20x ½ Mil Dot fully-illuminated reticle. Its offers four short, hollow outer posts and a thin crosshair with major and minor marks evenly spaced at 0.5 mil. At the inside edges of the four outer posts, minor hollow bars are spaced at 0.2 mil to provide ranging capability. To make precise shots at a variety of ranges, you can easily correct the parallax from 10 yd to infinity with the side focus parallax knob. To help with compensating for wind and a ballistic bullet drop, the riflescope offers 70 MOA of windage and elevation adjustment range and a 1/4 MOA per click impact point correction.
The scope's ultra-lightweight and durable magnesium construction is centered around its 30mm single-piece maintube, which is filled with nitrogen for fogproof and waterproof performance. The overall design features a slender, unobtrusive shape with finger-operated, exposed turrets. To prevent recoil-related zoom shift, the fast-focus eyepiece is outfitted with a high-torque zoom ring. To keep your scope's lenses protected from debris, dust, and dirt while it is not used, flip-up lens covers are also included. Other included accessories are a lens cloth, one CR-2032 battery, and a screw-in sunshade. - Optical Performance
