Product description Boasting powerful magnification, premium optics, interchangeable turrets, and a precise reticle, the Hawke Sport Optics 8-40x56 Sidewinder ED Riflescope is crafted to meet the needs of target shooters. Extra-low dispersion glass and 18-layer anti-reflective multi-coatings deliver a crisp, high-contrast image, and the big 56mm objective lens pulls in enough light for a bright picture even in dim conditions. The scope comes with 1/4 MOA, 1/8 MOA, and 1/10 MRAD turrets so you can customize click values over a total of 56 MOA elevation and windage adjustment.
The etched-on-glass TMX reticle in the second focal plane offers 16 MRAD of elevation spacing and 6 MRAD of windage on each side at 10x, and 8 MRAD of elevation and 3 MRAD each side on 20x. Brightness is controlled by a stepless rheostat and powered by an included CR2032 battery. An included 4" side wheel makes it easy to correct for parallax from 10 yards to infinity. Focus adjusts smoothly and stays put with the high-torque, soft-rubber ring, and the locking ocular keeps your reticle sharp.
The nitrogen-purged housing is built on a 30mm monotube, CNC machined from solid aluminum alloy and anodized for a scratch-resistant finish. An anti-reflective interior surface cuts down on stray light, adding to the efficiency of the light path. Threads on the objective accommodate the included 4" sunshade and flip-up metal lens cover (there's a cover for the ocular lens, too). - Optical Performance
