Keeping the magnification at a modest 8x helps to limit visible hand-shake and allows for a wider field of view versus higher-power binoculars. With their compact 25mm objectives, optical features, and a generous field of view, this Nature-Trek is ideally suited for most quick and casual glassing events.Complementing the optical performance are construction details that make the binocular durable and comfortable to use. These details start with a lightweight, impact and corrosion-resistant polycarbonate chassis that is protected by green rubberized armor. This armoring is textured to give it a non-slip grip especially in cold and wet conditions. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof - especially in extreme weather conditions.
