Product description If you've upgraded your home theater or video equipment to play back 4K content, only to find that your TV doesn't support the HDCP 2.2 standard, the HDfury Linker UHD/HDR HDMI Scaler can help. Aside from scaling UHD resolution to lower resolutions to play back on older equipment, the Linker can also downgrade the HDCP version to 1.4 for better television and A/V equipment compatibility. Two HDMI inputs can be switched to a single output for versatile connection options. If your needs are more specific than that, HDR metadata can be injected or extracted, the EDID can be customized, color space can be converted, and the bit-depth can be adjusted as necessary. If your expansive A/V setup with switchers, baluns, screens, and projectors don't support HDCP 2.2, the Linker is a great way to integrate a newer piece of equipment without having to overhaul your arsenal. - Built-In HDCP Doctor
- Four HDCP 1.4 and 2.2 engines are available for encryption/decryption, providing a workaround for users that require their HDMI signals to comply with a specified level of HDCP to ensure equipment compatibility. Conversion of HDMI signals up to 600 MHz are supported.
Note: see specs for unsupported signal types - Advanced EDID Management
- Three different EDID functions are available:
- A Selected EDID bank, a Custom uploaded EDID, a Sink mode EDID or a Fixed basic EDID
- Sniff EDID from connected sink devices (custom EDID tables can be saved)
- Select and pick any EDID of your choice from a list of 28 EDID tables
