• Heil Sound PR 40 Dynamic Cardioid Studio Microphone (Champagne) The PR 40 Dynamic Cardioid Studio Microphone from Heil Sound is a high-performance dynamic microphone ideal for use as a vocal mic for talk-show hosts and other voice over applications. The large dynamic element produces a smooth response with an articulate and natural midrange. The size of the diaphragm, combined with a low mass and an efficient NdFeB magnet structure, allow the microphone to achieve a wide dynamic range and capture high SPLs, making it a great kick drum mic as well.
  
  The microphone has 4 rear ports to reject off-axis noise, resulting in a smooth, tight cardioid pickup pattern with reduced proximity effect. The steel body and internal humbucking coil shield the microphone, making it safe for use near video monitors and noisy lighting fixtures. An internal Sorbothane shock mount decouples the microphone's dynamic element from the body to reduce the effects of handling noise.

• PreSonus Studio Channel The Presonus Studio Channel is a channel strip that features a tube preamp, a VCA compressor, and a 3-band parametric EQ. The tube preamp section features two knobs: Gain and Tube Drive. This allows you to adjust the amount of signal that hits the tube circuitry, opening up a wide range of sonic options. The VCA compressor section is well-suited to help all different kinds of audio sit nicely in a mix, whether it's percussion with fast transients, or smooth and silky vocals. The parametric EQ features a custom amplifier with a gain control on each of the 3 bands, with a variable Q knob on the mid frequency.If you're curious about outboard gear and want to upgrade your signal path from the stock preamp found on most audio interfaces, the Presonus Studio Channel is an excellent choice for deeper sonic exploration. It is designed for use with the large-diameter PR 30, PR 31 and PR 40 microphones. Its 5/8" threading mounts onto the PL2T Topless boom mount in addition to standard microphone stands. • Auray WCF-UB440 Foam Windscreen for Large Diaphragm Condenser Mics The Auray WCF-UB440 Foam Windscreen for the Senal UB-440 is made from specialty acoustic foam designed to reduce broadband wind noise with minimal high frequency loss. The density of the foam is optimized to help protect the microphone element from vocal plosives and wind pressure without dramatically muffling the sound. This windscreen is effective indoors for protection against drafts caused by air-conditioners and can be used in calm to light outdoor breeze conditions (0-7mph). It also reduces vocal plosives in close microphone placement situations. Users can generally expect a 4dB to 8dB reduction in wind noise, with very slight dampening of high frequencies. For most applications, the very slight high frequency dampening is a worthwhile exchange for the notable wind noise reduction. The WCF-UB440's foam is hypoallergenic and washable and helps prevent moisture and dirt from damaging your microphone. The windscreen has a height of 3.5" and is designed to fit over the Senal UB-440 as well as mics from AKG, Shure, Neumann, Mi-Tek, MXL, Behringer, SE Electronic, Rode and most other large diaphragm condensers with a grill diameter of larger than 2". The WCF-UB440 Foam Windscreen for the Senal UB-440 is an effective solution for basic wind protection.

• Auray BAI-2X Two-Section Broadcast Arm with Internal Springs and Integrated XLR Cable The Auray BAI-2X is a two-section broadcast arm with internal springs and an integrated XLR cable. This versatile and sturdy broadcast arm is great for studio as well as home use. It's ideal for broadcast, voiceover, and podcasts.
  
  The BAI-2X broadcast arm is designed with internal springs that provide a clean and sleek look. The internal balance springs are precision engineered to support and hold in place microphones of up to 5 lb. (2.27 kg). The design also minimizes handling noise when re-positioning the arm. The broadcast arm features a standard 5/8"-27 microphone stud mount that is compatible with most shockmounts and microphone clips. The angle of the microphone stud mount can be adjusted and secured with the locking knob, and the angle is maintained when re-positioning the arm. This eliminates the need to readjust it every time the arm is moved. With an extension of up to 40 inches, and the ability to rotate the arm 360°, the BAI-2X allows for precise microphone placement.
  
  The BAI-2X also features a heavy-duty combo mount that consists of a sturdy C-clamp and a heavy-metal desktop mount. The C-clamp is capable of fastening onto desktops up to 2.3" thick. The C-clamp's slim design minimizes the clearance needed to mount it between a desk and wall. The desktop mount detaches from the C-clamp and provides the option of permanent installation to a desktop with the mounting screws (included). A 14" riser is included for adding height to the broadcast arm in order to extend over computer or studio monitors.
